That's what a custom BrickTuned kit is: a brick-built model designed from photos of one specific car, then shipped as a kit they build themselves.

How to order it as a surprise

You'll need a few photos of their car. One clear side photo is enough to start, and front and rear shots help with the details. A photo from a car meet, their social media or a quick snap in the driveway usually works. Our guide to the photos we need shows what to look for.

Then send the photos, pick a size and add notes about anything special: a wrap, aftermarket wheels, a lift or a lowered stance. After you order, we send you a 3D preview to approve, with two rounds of revisions included, so you can get it right before any parts are ordered.

Make it theirs with a display plate

Every kit can include an optional custom brick display plate that sits in front of the car. Put their name, their car's nickname, a date or an inside joke on it, up to 18 characters.

Which size makes the best gift?

• Small, from C$99: a compact desk build. Great for a quick, satisfying build and a desk at work.
• Medium, C$199: our most popular size, with more shaping and detail. Our example build has opening doors, hood and tailgate.
• Large, C$299: the showpiece, with the most detail and the most pieces. A big build for a big occasion.

Common questions

Can I order without the owner knowing?

Yes. You place the order and approve the 3D preview yourself, so the surprise stays a surprise. Just send the clearest photos of their car you can find.

Can I send it straight to them?

Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. We ship to Canada and the US.

What if I'm not sure about the details of their car?

Send what you have and add notes about anything you know: wheel colour, a wrap, a lift. If something isn't clear from the photos, we'll ask before we design it.

What if I change my mind?

Every kit is designed from scratch, and parts are ordered only after you approve the preview. We confirm the time estimate for your size by email when we send the preview, so order early if you have a date in mind.
