Terms of service

These terms apply when you use bricktuned.com or buy from BrickTuned ("we", "us"), an independent studio based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. By placing an order you agree to them. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.

1. What we sell

We design custom brick-built kits of customers' cars from the photos they send, and we make brick mosaic portraits, 3D-printed art panels and custom parts. Kits are made with high-quality compatible bricks. BrickTuned is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any toy brand or car maker.

2. How a custom order works

  • You pay for your order at checkout. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
  • After you order, we email you to confirm the details and send a 3D preview render of your design.
  • Two rounds of revisions to your preview are included. Extra rounds cost C$25 each.
  • We order parts only after you approve your design. Once parts are ordered, the design can't be changed.
  • We confirm the time estimate for your order by email when we send your preview. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

3. Example builds and previews

Photos and renders on our website show example builds. Your model is designed from your photos and will differ in shape, detail and piece count. Brick models are a stylised interpretation of a vehicle, not an exact scale replica. Colours are matched to the closest available brick colours.

4. Your photos and content

You confirm that you own the photos and text you send us, or have permission to use them, and that they don't infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to use them to design, make and support your order. We won't use your photos or your finished design in our marketing without asking you first.

Photos you add to an order are stored by Shopify with that order. Custom part and car relief quote requests, including any attached file, are sent through Netlify, Inc., a United States service provider that stores the request and emails it to us. We keep photos and files only as long as we need them for your order, support and our records. To ask us to delete them sooner, email info.bricktuned@gmail.com. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle personal information.

We may decline any order, for example if it includes content that is offensive or that we believe infringes someone else's rights, such as trademarked logos. If we decline an order after payment, we refund it in full.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Because every kit is custom, cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: a full refund before your first 3D preview, a refund minus a design fee before parts are ordered, and no cancellation once parts are ordered. Missing or defective parts are replaced free if you tell us within 30 days of delivery.

6. Shipping

We ship to Canada and the United States, charged at cost. Some shipping is quoted by email after you order, as explained in our Shipping policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Customs duties or import taxes, if any, are your responsibility.

7. Safety

Kits contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3. They are designed as display models for teens and adults, and should be built under adult supervision for younger builders.

8. Design ownership

Our 3D designs, instructions, renders, website content and the BrickTuned name, logo and mascot belong to us. Your kit and its instructions are for your personal use. Please don't resell or redistribute the instructions or designs.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
